Zumindest eine Zeit lang…

[engl] Many of my friends here in Germany don’t believe me yet concerning my upcoming return. They expect me to expand my stay even longer. But that is definetely not possible! No, it is true. The trip is even for mr. Chillah over! Actually I’m having “holidays from holidays from holidays” in Dubai but after 4 days of sun, luxury and relaxing I will border an airplane for a last time (23.12.07 - 12.55pm) - at least for the next couple of months I guess, because: no money, no flights. No money, no trips and so on. Anyway, it was an unforgetable time but now it is time to say Farewell great, exciting and everyday new life and Welcome …hmmm…what does expect me back home? Thesis? Cold and winter? Being broke? Yes, but also You. You, my dear friends! And I am really looking so much forward to meet and talk to everybody of you and get to know all the stories from your last year!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the countdown began, the “lost son”, the globetrotter, the Chillah ;) has almost arrived back at home…

[engl] It’s almost business as ususal for me on my long trip: One highlight is followed by another. Every day new experiences, almost every day a new destination, every day new stories and every day I’m transfering heaps of pictures and videos to my laptop. That’s why I’m not able to keep my blog up to date. But at least I’m now posting a new gallery of pictures which were taken on the our 26hrs bustrip from Vientane, Laos to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam and during my first first days there. But as I promised before: I will tell ‘the whole thing’, all the stories behind the pics, with videos and even more pictures after my return to Germany!

Hey, I’m sure: Photogallery is better than nothing, so click and enjoy, my friends:

[ger] Es ist wie so oft auf meiner Reise: ich hangel mich von Highlight zu Highlight, jeden Tag neue Eindruecke, fast jeden Tag ein neuer Ort, jeden Tag neue Geschichten und jeden Tag eine Flut an Bildern und Videos, die auf meiner Festplatte landen.

Real good Stuff!
Real good Stuff! Thank you, holy Imodium!

[engl] Not that important, folks… - Just the fact that after approx 2 months traveling through South East Asia and living and eating here, it finally got me: Problems with stomach and stuff like that…I guess you know what I’m talking about. Instead of using my only 8 hrs in Vientane, the capital city of Laos to explore the most intersting Sights of it before our next bus leaves to Vietnam (another 24hrs duration..), I spent the day in the hotel room of our 2 friends from the Canary Islands. In this couple of hours I lost heaps of liters of water, out of every body exit… - So, the first time since ages that I was not feeling just happy and comfortable. But thanks to Imodium Pills I was able to manage my situation and my travel went on…

[engl] Alright, you know me guys usually I like to talk(write) A LOT! But, at the moment I’m too lazy to convert my very short - if any exist- notes to a form which is capable for my blog. Instead of writing down more bad English, I uploaded a second Gallery of Laos. Hope you’ll enjoy the pics and get again some impressions of my everyday life on my big journey. That’s it, so here is the link to the gallery:

[ger] Zur Abwechslung mal kurz und bündig:

Hier ist eine weitere kleine Gallerie mit Fotos aus Laos.

Welcome to Laos
Welcome to Laos

[engl] Ladies and Gentlemen, again a novelty: I put a little little compilation of some highlights of the last couple of days in a gellery. This should give you some more visual impressions of the things I encountered so far here in Laos. Although the pictures are not enhanced or modified nor they are they are blessed with my cheesy picture titles, I’m quite sure that you will enjoy them anyway!

Short update of my actual situation: Without planning I met my Swizz Travelbuddy Adrian in Bangkok, with whom I travelled 3 weeks in Australia and who garantees always a lot of fun and laughter. After a short stop in Bangkok, we had a short stop in Chiang Mai, then we travelled 16hrs plus one night on a slow boat to Laos where we are actually staying with 2 crazy guys from the Canary Islands and two Sis from Canada. The guys can’t speak English very good (actually they speak very poorly ;) ), so I was trying to speak the last 3 days more Spanish than I used the English language. That’s the reason why in the meanwhile I’m responding to Laos people automaticly with words like “si”, “no” or “gracias”!

Soon our journey will be continued to Vietnam - how where and when we still don’t know but hey - no worries, mate!

[ger] Ladies and Gentlemen,

[engl] Yooo! I think i mentioned something about a new style and the liveticker. Now, here it is: Just to update you guys, what happened where since the last entry at chillah.com (very shortly, like I said, I will fill all the gaps in my travel review, when I return to good old Germany):

Australia: Fraser Island, 4×4 Adventure tour, then Whitsunday Islands, sailing and snorkelling, then Cairns and a Divetrip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, then a little bit rainforest action(?) at Cape Tribulaion, before i flew from Brisbane to another world, South East Asia.

I began my journey here in Singapore, went then to Malysia and am now in Thailand. I don’t have to mention that I had everywhere a absolute great time and met sooooo many cool, interesting and nice people!! You guys know that I’m talking about you!

Seriously, EVERY day since I’ve left Germany (where my life wasn’t bad at all, believe me ;) ) was a pleasure. Every day new experiences, new perspectives, new sites, new friends and so on…

Coming back to the short overview of my last couple of weeks, I left Koh Tao with my PADI Open Water Certificate and am right now in a bus to Bangkok. I will arrive there in a few hours and I am lookung forward to get to North Thailand, then Laos, then Vietnam, then back to Bangkok - and all this in only 4 weeks! Crazy…

Okay Dudes ‘n’ Chicks, stay tuned - Yours Marek

[ger] Liebe Freunde,

[engl] Hello my dear Ladies, hello fellas! As you have recognized by yourself while visiting my site, there were always phases without any updates for a long time. These were the times where I had the most fun, I guess, which means that I couldn’t find the time to produce one of my postings (one entry cost me at least 3-4hrs work) to share all my great experiences with you, my friends. Actually, I always had on my mind:”Damn, I still have to tell this story and show these pictures..” and that put a kind of pressure on me. Because I realized that it won’t be possible for me to catch up with the present, I decided to change the philosophy of my blog. In future, I will try to post entries, which contain information about things that happen to me now. But that means on the one hand, that these entries won’t be as finalized as they’ve been until now. More text, less and unenhanced pictures. On the other hand that means that I can fully enjoy my last weeks in the different and every day so fascinating world. I hope you still will have a look at chillah.com as I will every once a while post stories about the past and believe me, there are still many many highlights which i couldn`t share with you so far… - As usual: I m happy about any feedback regarding the new way of chillah.com

SO müssen Roommates aussehen!
So müssen Roommates aussehen!

[engl] I arrived in Noosa for one night. One night which I shared with the sexiest Roommates ever so far…4 girls from France. I did only three things here: Surfing, partying with Team France and my new 24/7 travel mate Adrian from Switzerland and taking a coastal walk in the National Reserve. C’est tout! ;) Don’t miss the clip below containing the ultimate dance performance of the King of Noosa, how i called him afterwards! A ~55year old guy, the local girls loved him…

Keine Sorge, Freunde! So, it`not me down there!
Keine Sorge, Freunde!
So, it`not me down there!

[engl] Because of my damaged digital camera I had to drop by in Brisbane. I didn’t expect much as everybody I’ve talked so far about Brisbane adwised me to leave it out as it’s nothing special. But I was suprised how nice Brisbane was. Cool atmosphere, very clean everywhere, nice and friendly people and a great nightlife. At the end it was more than worth to see this city for at least 1 night. My primary mission -the repair of my camera- was complete, as well. I needed 165bucks and had to wait 1 hour before I received my camera working properly. Finally I met a bunch of crazy but very nice guys from England and Ireland, who gave me a lift to Noosa the next day…

Nein, nieeemals ;)
Wieder zu viel dabei? Ich? Nein, nieeemals ;)

[engl] Finally my real Australia trip has began. After my first 12hrs night travel in a Greyhound bus i arrived in Byron Bay, a very popular destination for travelers, surfers and chillers. All in all, not to bad for mr. lackorzynski ;) .Besides 5 hours at different travel agencies to plan and book my further stay in Australia, i spent most of my time here with surfing. Unfortunately I can’t show you guys a lot of pictures of the beaches around and of my surfing skills because first: I was in the water, no hands free to handle a camera and second: my small digital camera in the underwater case quitted her job after the first 3 shots…damn it! My night time acitivities: jam sessions, hostel parties, clubs & bars and visiting a wet-t-shirt contest (was funny to watch the audience of such an event ;) and guess who has won? - Helga from Sweden of course! ;) .Although I’m traveling alone, I’m never really alone. It’s incredible how many different people from how many different countries (except the billions of ‘germs’ everywhere!) with how many different backgrounds you meet during a travel like mine! I really enjoy that.
